I could spend thousands of hours studying and coding, and only will have learned a the equivalent of a grain of sand on an anthill in terms of what there is to know about programming. I believe I'll spend my entire life trying to learn as much as possible about everything and yet I'll die having learned the equivalent of an infinitely small, invisible point.

"This knowledge I cannot doubt: for if I doubt, then I am, I know that I am, and I delight in that."

There is elegance in everything: mathmatics, programming, ink drawings, product design, aquatic plants, etc. Knowledge is the only god, because it is the only thing we can, without doubt, count on. No matter how much time you spend organizing your polemics and arguments and penning proofs you can never say, *without doubt* there is or isn't a god. The only universal constant is knowledge itself.
